Getting Started

Three ways to begin.

The simplest first step is to submit an inquiry or schedule a tour. Our office will walk you through grade availability and the steps to enroll.

Most families start by visiting campus, so they can see classrooms in action and ask questions in person. From there, applying takes only a few minutes online, and our office is available by phone or email throughout the process.

Public Charter Basics

What a tuition-free public charter school means for your family.

As an Arizona public charter school, AEA is tuition-free and publicly funded. Charter schools are public schools — not private schools — and families never pay tuition to enroll.

Enrollment is open to students from across Arizona and does not depend on an entrance exam, grades, or where you live. When a grade receives more applications than it has seats, Arizona law requires that those seats be filled by a random public lottery, which we hold each February.
